MOLLY BRESNAHAN

A little about me

Not many people get to combine the things they’re truly passionate about with their every day work so I consider myself extremely privileged that I’m able to do just that. Creating dream itineraries from start to finish with my clients is so much more than a job to me.

Finding myself in the world of high-end travel was unexpected; my own roots are much humbler. I grew up in the North Shore suburbs of Auckland, New Zealand with my Mum, sisters and brother and most of my downtime was spent on the beach with mates or at my grandparents’, feeding the chickens and cleaning out their coops.

After taking a gap year between high school and university to decide where my future lay the travel bug really set in. One year turned into two and although it seems like only yesterday, 16 years later I’m still exploring – much to my family back home’s dismay as it keeps me from coming home to ‘settle down’ year after year.

I began my career back in 2010; tour guiding all over Europe for a youth adventure travel company. When that ran its course (three years taking people on holiday is great for seeing the continent – not so great for sleep patterns and the liver) I settled in London. It’s here that I honed my skills creating travel experiences with a major high street retail travel company as a consultant and manager.

While having the backing of a giant multi-national company is great for job security it can be a little restrictive in its process and a lot about the numbers. As someone who perhaps doesn’t conform to conventional work styles and thinks outside the box, I started to realise that I wanted more freedom to create amazing travel experiences that really give my clients EXACTLY what they want without restrictions and rules.

Starting āmio in conjunction with my partnership with 360 Private Travel allows me the autonomy and freedom to search out the best of the best and make connections with the top travel brands and experience providers in the world – at the best rates and with VIP service. I’m not restricted by set office hours, time-wasting commutes and can truly personalise my services to your needs.

“Molly has assisted me with our corporate travel demands for many years. She offers an exemplary service with both professionalism and efficiency. When booking a family trip to Japan Molly was the obvious choice. I would have no hesitation in recommending her for any travel requirements, whether it be a local trip or trip of a lifetime”.
